Connecticut lights

I concluded my tour of New England lighthouses in Connecticut this past weekend, where I made my first stop along the coastline at the Five Mile Point light in New Haven on Saturday afternoon. I was also able to view the Southwest Ledge light out in the water. I then drove west to Stratford to view the Stratford Point light. After staying the night in Bridgeport, I took a walk along the beach there where I got to see the Tongue Point lighthouse, and then walked along the breakwater up to the Black Rock Harbor light. I also viewed the Penfield Reef light from there. Unfortunately, my camera then died on me, and changed my plans to view some more lights. I did buy a new camera and made one last stop in Rowayton to see the Greens Ledge lighthouse, but I wasn’t able to zoom in like my other camera and the picture quality was quite lacking in comparison. I had also scheduled to take a lighthouse cruise along the western coast in the afternoon but those plans fell through. I do plan on rescheduling the boat trip for next spring, though.
